Prof Sethi,
It is a pleasure to be in your class. I am not only knowing about subject but learning more about life as well. I hope we will be in contact one way or other even after class.
One thing I always to all Indians particularly all Punjabis to get them into Field Hockey because like Bhangra, Folk Music, Punjabi Village life is a part of our culture. Even though I had never played Hockey back in India because I was more of city boy grew up in Ludhiana and played either football or cricket (Mohalla I hope you know) But as my son grew up and had a desire to play Hockey and I got involved in it and found out by observing we punjabis have uniqeness about this game and are very Natural players.
Any way We always have a tournament on Memorial Day weekend at Moorpark College everyyear. And this year main attraction is Namdharis from India, Argentina and Holland are coming to participate. If you find some time and come and bring your family to enjoy the game and festivities. Off course you can always find me every Saturday and Sunday on field as me and my family actively involved in league.
Thanks again
Jatinder

I didn't find this site after "following a Pagan ritual" it was by accident. The only reason why I want to make this clear is because all the info. I know about Sethi from Egypt, which I've been to and Hebrew translations of the Bible were brought to my consciousnessness by Christ as a Christian. India, in my opinion is one of the first places to receive a higher God consciousness than our Neanderthal ancestors, or Cro-Magnon for you smart detail oriented Sethi. I'm a Sethi by adoption via Jesus, so I have to stay sober. Or maybe that's because I'm part Native American? Don't Answer that. I know you are smart, funny and understand sarcasm.

Sethi is the plural for the people of Seth in the Bible. Seth was the child made in God's image to replace Abel, who was killed by Cain. Seth was the line that got to live through Noah, because he was a direct descendant. So, your family came through the righteous bloodline according to scripture! This lineage gave birth to Eyptians through Ham, Noah's son. The Royal Egyptian's knew who they were descendants of and repeatedly used a good old family name of Set, Seth, Sethi, Sethosteros, etc. Muslim's descend from Seth via Ishmael, 1st son of Abraham, and Jews via Isaac, the second son. Abraham is a decscendant of Noah & Seth. You have cornered the market on Christianity as well, because Jesus, being born of Mary is Jewish & from the line of Abraham, Noah & Seth. Did you notice the Seti project was the first to search for Intelligent life beyond our planet? The T in Hebrew can also be pronounced for TH, so take your pick and you still run everything, if you can stay sober. Seth also means drunk in Hebrew, so addiction is the great equalizer. Stay with God and you can be as spectacular as you were meant to be!
